Applications must be received in the Human Resources Office by close of business (5:00 p.m.) on the posted closing date. Applications received after this time will not be considered. Applications will be accepted for Police Recruit and Lateral Police Recruit on an on-going basis. Police Recruit applications will be retained on file for the next Police recruitment testing date or a maximum of 1 year. Lateral Police Officer applicants are required to submit an application along with the Sworn Background Packet for review.
